Anatomicals Eye Cream Review

It's Thursday review day. Anatomical's is still a new brand to me, there products are reasonably priced and they have cute but cheeky packaging similar to Soap & Glory. I picked up this eye cream from ASOS for £3.50. At this price I just couldn't resist giving it a sneaky try. You can pick it up from Superdrug or Amazon for £3.65.

I've only recently started using an eye cream. Becoming a mum made me feel slightly aged past my years and I'm sure the day I gave birth wrinkles erupted on my skin. Cue the eye cream to battle off tired looking eyes.

I can't compare this to many other products so this will just be my personal impressions. Firstly the packaging is cute it's vibrant pink with a cheeky quote on the side, it's appealing to use when it looks pretty on your dressing table. The texture is light and a formula more similar to gel than cream. With out sounding stupid it's really wet, yes that sounds even more silly wrote down. Hopefully you see what I'm trying to say. I apply this every morning and evening after my usual skincare routine of cleansing and toning. I've found I can be really heavy handed so the traditional eye pat to apply products just doesn't happen in this house, the texture of this cream makes sweeping easy though without it dragging at the delicate eye area. I feel it dries quite quickly allowing you to move on to the next step of your regime without much waiting around. The fact that this cream still exists in my get ready plan while looking after a toddler is a huge accomplishment for Anatomicals.

Overall I'm really loving using this, it generally does it's job while fighting against dry skin and brightening tired eyes. I must say I think this will be on my repurchase list but for now I shall keep slathering this on in the hope to keep my peepers wrinkle free.
