In my dictionary d-day is diet starting day! Its that time of the year when I realize I relaxed a little too much this summer. With upcoming events and the other barred word (Christmas) I thought it was time to check it out, I got on the scales this morning and was not a happy blogger. Diet, fitness kick and healthy living is starting again this month. I'm on count down for my holidays in 5 weeks and need to get back in shape.
I am going to be starting the Gillian Michael s 30 day shred DVD. I think most people know her as the brutal fitness coach from The Biggest Loser USA. She scares me a little but I do love her attitude. Its a much cheaper option of exercise without the expensive monthly costs of the gym. I payed £5 for it from Amazon. It supposedly helps you lose inches not just pounds. There is three levels to work through. Easy, medium and hard and each level is 20 minutes long. Gillian claims that this workout is equivalent to several hours in the gym. I've heard its hard work but with only 5 weeks to get back in shape i'm willing to put in the effort. If any of you are curious my starting weight is exactly 11 stone or 154lbs and my dress size is 10/12 depending on the shop. I am going to do some measurements as soon as I get chance so will let you know those. I will be eating healthy and cutting down on my calorie intake. I hate the word diet and much prefer healthy eating as I think this what should be a goal long term. If you want to join in or want anymore information please let me know.
